Woke up this morning to a chili 48*:@ Got dressed in jeans and lotsa layers and headed north. Met up with Gerald,Speedy and Jim and headed out of PE. The wind was only blowing 15knts but the cold stung your bones. Once in the water all was forgiven as it felt like a nice hot tub:D. Fish were few and far between. Depths ranged from 30-75ft mostly reefs and couple of wrecks thrown in the mix. Final body count 3 Blacks,1 Mutton, 2 Mangos and 1 bug. On a more positive note, at the dock some marine biologist(I forgot from where) was gathering info on everybodys catch. We asked about the upcoming grouper closures. She didn't really want to say much, but she finally gave in and said that everyday she gets new and different info as to what is really going to happen.:confused1:

Thanks for the invite guys. It was nice getting out again after all this time, and to get a lobster and a black made it that much sweeter. But damn it was COLD... Also, I am definitely not used to wrestling fish from underledges at 60ft anymore... Makes you feel alive though.
Dive safe,
G
