That king looks really nice, fat one.
I still remember that huge one you got
right next to me, seen you fight that beast
was such a joy, I wish we had video of that. -

OF COURSE! My Jomer 3 mm camo wetsuit that turned out into a 1 mm rash guard... :rolleyes1:
Roberto: I still remember as it was yesterday: Murky water, more than 70 feet dept, sharky waters, I was over the sea bottom doing an "aspetto" and suddenly saw her big eye watching at me no more than 3 feet away on my right! We both (The fish and me) got soooo scared! I only had time to aim at the tail with my 110 cm Jomer with a reel (no floatline or float at all)!!!
I was very lucky not to loose that fish. It was an unoficial world record for three weeks. 64 pounds. We had to cut it in half because it won't fit into the cooler.
It was exactly 4 years ago.
A picture of that beast. You can see where the shot was placed. I aimed intentionally to that area as she was going away and is a firm area that nomally does't tears. A little bit higher though.

The fish does look big in the pic, but seen it personally, it was soo fat, pic does
not do justice.
It had a dog tooth tuna look, and it was such a fight. -
Nice shot placement on both fish! That's a fat parrotfish.
