South of Port Everglades today
begin at 9am--------end at 1pm
wind from WEST at 10mph---from SW at 14mph
current 1mph from S to N----same
viz 15f in 50fsw-------15f in 20fsw
seas 2f --------------less than 2f
water temp 70F
58F cloudless--------74F 25% cloudsSea and weather today was great EXCEPT there was only 15f of viz everywhere I went
I paddled out to 50fsw hoping the water would be clearer and ended swimming back in to 20fsw and doing drops every 15min as I swam in.
At 20fsw I could just begin to see the bottom from the surface.
On one of the random drops I just lucked out and dropped down through the snow right on top of a 20in hog. He saw me just a fraction of a second after I saw him. He rolled over on his side to eyeball me just as I squeezed the trigger and pinned him to the bottom :thumbsup2: -
Nice Hau. Way to go. I am always blown away by your diving endurance
