The current was strong, the vis wasn´t that good, I started looking under the underwater ledges of the ole rig. The underwater structure was swarming with life: parrots, snappers, multi colored fishes, rocking and rolling everywhere, but my mind was set and my atention was focused on that last rig, far and away, protruding like a submersed giant taunting me in defiance. The current was getting stronger and stronger, and my float line was snagging constantly around the posts of the rig, my legs were already burning, but my heart was far from quitting, I ´ve listened a lot of stories out there about the muelle de San Juan. When I finally got there, the water underneath was pitch black, my heart was pounding, Why was the water so absolutely dark? Let´s find out , I dove right to the very heart of darkness, the old ticker was pounding, my trusty gun steady, my body was warm and cozy and i suddenly felt the sudden decline of temperature, the water was so cold down there, I saw a huge dark thing swiftly moving, there were thousands of sardines down there, that was the very reason why the sea was so dark underneath, I was thinking that when a huge shadow emerged among the sardines, lined up, let fly and the fight was on.
Some minutes later I got a Skypjack too from a school patrolling the ledges. What a nice day, one of the best things of living in paradise
