Hola, just joined this site. I live on the island of Culebra off west shore of Puerto Rico and spend several days a week spearfishing, wearing out equipment, getting torn up in fire coral, missing a lot of fish I should have hit, breaking off a few lobster antenna, loosing gear in breaking surf, and just having a great time. Just turned 67 have a little trouble spotting pulpo with these old eyes-- so I take a lot of youngsters with me. I don't know if the benefit of their spotting an occasional octopus is worth all the bent shafts and dull points they produce on my equipment! But we creat a lot of great memories and good times.
Dad bought me my 1st gun (spring loaded) at 15 and it's been a passion ever since.
