Hey everyone! Been waiting at the front door all day waiting for my spearfishing gear to get here, scared the usps guy a little bit but oh well! Got my wetsuit, socks and gun from Dan and dang it's some good stuff. While i can't comment on how it shoots yet, but it feels perfect. Gotta get in the ocean and start practicing loading, wanted to try but don't want to out of water. Thanks again Dan!
Got my gear!

Austin is actually the first to get the new Speardiver stealth speargun so pics would be interesting.

I'll try to get some pics up soon! Thought i'd do a little update really quick though. I tried on the Speardiver Predator Wetsuit and it fits perfect! Then, because i couldn't wait any longer, i tried to load it "did not put the wishbone in the notch" and dang that was way harder than anticipated! So my question is, does the band get easier to pull back over time and just needs to be broken in? I was going to go with a 90cm but ended up getting a 110 because i was told i'd probably get a bigger gun later to handle larger fish. I am happy with my decision and if i ever feel like i need a hole gun i'll get an 80 or 90. So, do the bands get easier over time? Thanks!

For me it always seems guns are easier to load in the water.

A 110cm is not so bad. The speargun is easier to load in the water. The bands do become a little softer after a few cycles of loading and firing. But most importantly you need to develop the right technique for chest/stomach loading. Does anyone have a link to a video?
If you load out of the water make sure you're near a wall and pointing the gun at the wall. If you shoot by accident and the spear travels to the end of the shooting line, it will come back at you point first.

Here is the video that shows you how to chest load a speargun.

It took me a long time to be able to load a gun without a bunch of wasted effort and pain. I load right below the xiphoid process. I've found this to be the least painful. As soon as both hands are on the bands I try and perform the loading action as quickly as possible. Can't wait to see some results! good luck!
