Found this at my cousins house. Doesn't remember where he got it. I just need to make a sheath for it. It is all metal

Nice find. For my next knife sheath I'll be using flat nylon webbing. Stitch a pocket out of it and use a bungee to secure the knife.

Did you find it in Homestead?:D
-
Looks like a Fairbanks/Sykes dagger. Used by gallant british pilots to open the livin´guts out the damn nazi, during the "D " day invasion, back in the good old days :fencing:

I was doing some chopping of bushes around my back yard and found this knife. The plant grew through the hole and raised it up off the ground otherwise I wouldn't have found it in all the dead plant material on the ground. Funny thing is I considered on and off over time getting this knife for spearfishing. It's a cheap $10-$20 knife commonly available. I never got it because I think the bare metal grip is not comfortable. Well now I have it. Cleaned up very nicely with just a dish washing scrubby and water, rust is gone and there's no need to polish it. The stainless steel must be pretty good eh Jim Didn't find a sheath though..

:laughing1: what ever happened to that riffe sheath i gave you?
-
I have it but it's for a stubby. I'm waiting to find a Riffe stubby in my backyard.
-
Dan, I have a sheath that may work for that knife maybe after a little heating and forming. . .I'll dorp it off next shore dive.
-
PVC Sheath! SS that doesn't rust? Mine does!
-
Dan make a handle, of wood or plastic, wood would be nice and make the same holes of the metal on the wood, some thin piece of teak or any hard wood and sandwich them with epoxy to the ss.
Like I made this ine in the message #7 http://spearfishing.world/divi…181-pvc-knife-sheath.html
