This is my diving knife and how I carry it.

Marco I like the leash, I do the same with rubber.
Don -
Pursuit "Red Tide" knife. The two serrated edges come handy.
-
My killers, from left to right:
Spetton stilletto, it was given to me by Fuzz himself 4 years ago, is my primary knife and has taken more abuse than is possible to imagine. I use it at a rate of 8 hours weekly (two weekly dives)
A Fairnbairn Sykes wannabee, my back up knife
A sporasub daga, the older version, it has more brains on its count than Einstein himself
I am waiting for a Cold steel Bowie spike
-
My diving knife is an Omer Laser, which is very similar to the Wenoka squeeze lock knife. I like it because it is low profile, locks very good and is very easy to pull out.
Out of the water, I am an SOG whore.
From the top
SOG Tigershark - 14" overall, it was a great X-mas present.
SOG Seal Pup - Smaller version of the Seal knife, great overall knife.
SOG Field Pup - Great knife under $40, very sharp, comfortable handle. I carry it while hunting.Keep them coming!

The red tide looks nice, but I only see one serrated edge in the pictures. Not important for me though.
-
I know what you mean. I need to take a more close up pic of the blade. But if you notice the two pics of the knife without the sheath are two different faces of the blade, this is evident by the stamping seen on only one side. The serration falls to the left in both pics.
-
My brainer. Don't carry it anymore due to lack of reef fish and mainly drift diving.
I don't like serrated edges because it is harder to sharpen and you have to saw through the thing you are cutting.
-
BTW, my dive buddy bought Dan's knife, and i really like it. Being serrated on both sides is nice because i would only use the edge of the knife in case i need to cut rope or line in an emergency, and the tip for braining fish. If i lose my Omer, im calling Dan.

I want a bowie spike for braining. How do you like those C.S. spikes? The steel is very thick

Here's a few of my more noteable knives. Ive got knives in every nook and cranny in my house and just about every box. I often misplace them and buy another only to find the ones a year or two later.:rolleyes1: From top to bottom and then left to right:
1. Buck -the knife that goes in my "when the shit hits the fan" kit:D
2. CRKT - I keep this one in my truck as a general utility knife for heavier jobs.
3. Buck -little folder. always in my pocket wherever I go. I love this kife. Holds a great edge.
4. Tom Brown Tracker -the "ultimate survival knife". This was given to me by a friend when I left CA. I think the blade is almost 1/4" thick. You could actually take someones arm off with it, OR build a log cabin:laughing3:The last two are old and I have them because they are beautiful. LIke Don, I believe knives are tools and should be used. However, I would never use either of these. I want them to remain as they are.
5. Schrade-Walden double folder. Bone handle
6. Puma damascened blade bone handle -
Thanks guys, this is shaping up to be a great thread, lets keep it going.:thumbsup2:

Pursuit Utility Belt
-
Hi Kyle,
I would pass that bungee cord in front of the belt.
-
It always is, I pass it that way when not in the water cause the bungee pulls it forward pretty hard. Thanks :thumbsup1:

Great taste in belts and knives, here's mine. The quality of the Pursuit rubber belt is very good along without being too stretchy. Great product Dan at a fair price.... If it gets any colder here I'll be chipping ice with the knife.....Brrrrrrrr.:@
Cheers, Don

Pursuit knives are great. The only thing I did to mine was to sharpen it's point in order to brain fish easier.
-
Nice..
Cheers, Don
-
Good idea Billy, I think I'll do that to mine.

I sharpened the tip on my pursuit knife right after I bought it. it works great for me and is far more manageable than my old wenoka
