What´s your favorite speargun length?

  • Being a proud Italian as he is, I think Marco doesn´t forgive Omer to manufacture things at China.. Can´t blame the man for it. I would rather spend the big bucks for either an Italian , American or Frenchmade product, rather than a china thing. Omer still does great products thou-

I like Chinese Chicks, food and Shaolin, and their torch lit without a hitch at the last Olympic games.;)
I collect guns, and the Airbalete is a bench mark gun with it's hydro formed barrel. I'll post some pictures when it kills fish. The the gun will not be stock for very long. ;) I should have it in 30 days.

  • Hey Don, have you used the airbalete yet? Let us know what you think of it when you do. I've heard some good things:toast::cool2:

No I have not received it yet. A very good friend of mine Rene Rojas( World Class diver) loves it for dirty water, and shot some big Stripe Bass with it. I plan on using it when I get up close and personal with the
    big bass.

  • id be really interested in hearing about the results too, i dont know much about pneumatics but of all of them the omer is definetly the sleakest looking IMO, how do you go about modding it? do they sell kits or is it altercations youve jsut learned to make over time?

Dan has post's about air guns here on the forum, the conversions are very common and know as ''Dry barrel''. I am I devout band gun user that likes to mix it up when I get bored.

  • Awesome Don. I'm sure its gonna be sweet. I saw Rene's pictures and that striper was a beast! Looking forward to seeing some shlob WSB pics this spring;)

  • You're both right. I'm venezuelan born 100% blooded italian.

Getting back to the jomer, if you can read some italian I can post some links here. As I recall, one of the biggest deffects is that is very hard to engage the piston in the loaded position. Also it is too positive in the nose, the power regulator doesn't work well, the plastic pieces in the handle are very brittle, etc...

In Spain, there is a friend of mine that has become the "Master" of neumatics. He preffers Cressi SL and Seac Asso, which by the way also have a version with hydroformed barrel, the Caccia HF.

Good luck with your new toy. I hope I was wrong.

I like chinese chicks and food too. ;)
