I haven't tasted one. Doc's Taiwanese friends love them. He gets them for them.

I have some friends down in the keys that sell them to some vietnamese people for 60$ an eel. They can't be that bad, though I have personally never tried them.

My grandma (from Sardinia, Italy) loved to eat morray eel. I tried once and it's not bad, but too fatty for my taste.
