wish i needed a new weightbelt. That red one would be great to standout in a bucket with everyone else's gear. Smart move offering colors

nice mutton. well done

30% battery life improvement sounds nice. Does it take the same batteries as the Hero 3?
Is the lens housing the same size so that the caps fit it as well?
I agree about that housing. The double lock of the 3 is very comforting while diving. I'll take a look at the specs, but may end up picking up a silver 3+ for above water video.

wow, that looks great

I know what you mean about the non stop upgrades. But it's not a bad thing, in the case of the hero3 over a hero2 for example the added value is well worth it.
hopefully the upgrade will be longer battery life. My Black burns through batteries pretty quickly, but man, it's better quality than my Hero HD.

Great thread, love me some ceviche.
I usually use mutton snapper as the fish, but sometimes wahoo or yft depending on what I have.
I agree with the key limes for scorching the fish if so desired.
Ingredients change depending on what I can find fresh, but I like
Mango
Papaya
cilantro
sea salt
serano peppers
red onion
diced tomatos
spring onionsIf using avocados, I add them separately to the individual bowls since they don't keep real well in the fridge.
If you are looking for a different taste add some coconut milk to the final mix as well.
For those in Miami, Jaguar in the grove has some real good peruvian ceviche. Try and hit it when I am down that way.

Some one has to point out that the title of this thread is a horrible tease!! I was expecting to see a grouper destroyed!! Especially given they way they have been mocking me during the off season.
Ha, that what I was going to say, LOL. Hope you keep the thread updated with pics down the road.

The waters are so much calmer over here - you run a good site here Dan./Henrik

Dang. Shows these fins will stand up to some use.
I have been very happy with mine, almost 2 years old now. They aren't that bad, but far from new. When I have gone back to my old cressis for a few drops they feel like bricks.

Awesome fish, beautiful water. Thanks for sharing.
I love diving on weed lines. Its like an upside down undulating reef.
Thanks. An inverted reef is a great way to describe it.

I finally sat down and went through the footage of my last few Bahamas trips. They intended to be combo trips, but the diving was limited on a the first couple. We did get in the water a little more on the last one and shot some decent fish in a short bit of time.
"Album" theme is a bit cheesy, but I am trying some new stuff.
editted to add a second video from labor Day rather than clogging up board with extra thread.

Been going through some videos from muy last couple of of trips. This is a quick clip of a shallow water mutton that was actually a legit greenback. Rolled the mutton, but what I like best is the background sound of my buddy hollering after the shot. May need to turn it up to hear though. Full length video to follow later this weekend.

Hank,
as mentioned, it's a tennis elbow. You likely have a partial tear of the ECRB.
NSAIDS and Ice.
Stretches: Rehabilitation for Tennis Elbow
Avoid repetative trauma as best as possible. Twisting motions (screw driver) will aggravate it. When lifting or carrying, do it palm up so that you are using your biceps.Try a tennis elbow brace. Patients have been happy with the Band-it
BandIT Forearm Elbow Band and BandIT Magnetic Forearm Elbow Band
-
Post a pic pointing to exactly where the elbow hurts.
if you lift a weight from full extension to full flexion, does it hurt more when lifting with the palm up towards the ceiling or knuckles up?

Franco is mi older son Dan. He's 13. Alessandro is the youngest (10). Both go out with me every time now. I am really proud of them. Both are very good students and great divers.
.awesome.
His grin in the pics says it all :thumbsup2:
