Description
This is our favorite spearfishing flashlight. It has a durable aluminum casing that unlike plastic will not shatter if tossed around in a dive bag with other gear. The grip area is only 1" in diameter, this is a very compact easy to grip and store light. Other lights that appear similar are significantly thicker at 1.5" diameter. The recess in the middle allows for a more secure grip, and installment of a clip for attachment to a speargun. This light has a simple to use thumb operated sliding on/off switch, without any other settings to waste time cycling through. The switch is magnetic and hassle free waterproof. The energy saving LED light provides great illumination with a tight focused beam. The two CR batteries provide a longer burn time than flashlights using AAA batteries. There are many nice looking compact waterproof flashlights that are marketed for spearfishing, we found all to be lacking in one or more of these categories.
