I wouldn't look for the benefit of let off but more so the added speed from the torque curve that the cam shape creates. I never cared for much let off as it takes away from speed. And since we aren't required to hold our spearguns at full draw the let off is not needed. But like you said, they did it on a sling with no trigger mech.

Hello seal,
IMO SHE would prefer a LONGER gun. :bed:
But just to make sure, please PM me her address AND I'll ask her if she accepts cash for more than just posing.
 -
It just occurred to me this whole obsession with trying to prove that a shorter gun (roller) can be more powerful could stem from some parallel subconscious concern. I wonder what it could be

Soooooooooo nice, at my age only one (her) is necessary - 2 would be the end but oh what a way to go :thumbsup2::cool2::)

Hi,guys,
I took some efforts to bring my target to the spearfishing trip in Greece to do some test shots of the inverse polispast 110.This is the lightest and most acurate rooler I ever had.Fisrt time I shot so many fast little fishes with pleasure with so big gun and without missing any).Distance of shots to target is from 4 to 7 meters, becouse visibilituy was bad, about 7 meters.I believe it would pass the penetration and accuracy test at 8-9 meters,if I could see the target. I repeated all shots several times for confidence;)https://youtu.be/2wrMd9e9omg

I saw Koah roller at the expo in Fort Lauderdalle, they are not bad wooden guns
-
I shoot a band gun as the roller head would completely block out seeing the tiny fish for my pizza.;)
Cheers, Don

Marco,
Those bottom bands don't vibrate when you move the gun around.
-
Hey Harry!
I will put it on test with actual fish tomorrow if conditions are good. I'm bringing my GoPro.
Can't tell you about vibration so far. Tomorrow will have a complete opinion of it.
In the pool it shoots straight and apparently with enough power. I was consistently hitting the target of the picture.
Today I tried it with a reel and apparently should work well.
As it was very buoyant and I balanced it myself placing lead both in the muzzle and the handle, I can hold it in the water with two fingers and has almost no recoil. The shaft seems to fly straight to the end of one wrap, which is what I normally use. Let's see if it becomes my to-go gun.

Marco, the 2nd image of post 274 shows 2 pulley axles I believe, did you remove the forward set?
Thanks Don

Good eye Don! Yes I did. It was a pain to load the bands as there was not enough room for them when unloaded.
It worked!
