I hope the thread title doesn't turn out to be too aspirational..
Beautiful sea for the last two days, I waited out the weekend and the crazy boaters, hoping that it will hold till Monday, and that the vis got a chance to improve. Turned out to be as expected. Started out the day a little late, around 10am. Besides getting wet for the first time in months, I also wanted to get some pics of the new dive board in action.
Got a hog on the first reef. Then another nice one on the 2nd. After 2 hours in the water I was starting to feel tired and a little cold (was wearing rashguards). Still not bad for not diving for so long. The residual of a cold didn't allow me to equalize, even after a few saltwater nose inhalations. So I decided to head back while my ankles have still not given out. Leaving the 2nd reef I ran into this hog, and after a short stalk he gave me a broadside for a stone shot. He turned white initially but then the color came back some.
Three hours in the water and three hogs, two of them nice size. The board performed beautifully.
